He/she helps determine the best course of action with the individual or family member, and if treatment is warranted, arrange placement into treatment while managing other Treatment Intake Specialist.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage the intake department schedule ensuring coverage according to department plan
- Successfully train new and existing intake specialists in all aspects of the role
- Monitor performance of intake department and individual intake specialists
- Ensure adequate payor mix to sufficiently support program
- Support and correct intake specialists performance in treatment conversion
- Monitor and present department performance data at regular intervals
- Support department by functioning in intake specialist as needed performing the below duties
- Answer all inbound calls promptly.
- Compassionately assess caller’s situation and need for treatment.
- Determine whether callers are willing and able to attend treatment.
- Input all relevant details regarding call into CRM.
- Follow-up with previous callers using calls, texts, emails, etc.
- Liaison between Intake Department and the Director of Operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of substance abuse, treatment, and recovery strongly preferred.
- Knowledge in psychology, social work, human services, or a related discipline
- Proficiency with Google Suites Office required.
- Experience working in a call center environment preferred, sales experience a plus.
- Excellent creative problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to show compassion and empathize over the phone is required.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Compensation: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

WisHope Recovery Center was founded in 2016 by Peter Brunzelle. Peter is WisHope Recovery’s Executive Director and serves on the Waukesha County Heroin Task Force Board. He also serves as president of the Wisconsin Association of Sober Housing (WASH), a nonprofit organization that establishes standards and quality assurance in recovery housing and affiliates for the state of Wisconsin. He is also a person in long-term recovery.
WisHope Recovery Center (WRC) was founded because of the gap in integrated substance use and mental health treatment services available in Wisconsin. “There wasn’t a place where one could go for treatment that supported multiple pathways to recovery,” Brunzelle says. “If you needed support for psychiatric medication, medicated-assisted treatment, or were dealing with co-occurring disorders you were not accepted at most treatment centers. It really was a one size fits all approach across the state. This is why I created WRC. Not only do we support all pathways to recovery, but we integrate family programming into our treatment approach. We understand that including loved ones in one’s recovery journey from the start is critical as this allows for consistency and enhanced healing. When clients leave our program, they’ve already worked hard to repair and improve their support systems, which makes it easier for them to rebuild their lives when they are ready to move onto the next chapter.”
